एवमुक्त्वार्जुनः सङ्ख्ये रथोपस्थ उपाविशत् । विसृज्य सशरं चापं शोकसंविग्नमानसः ॥
Translation
Having said this on the battlefield, Arjuna sank down onto the seat of his chariot, letting his bow and arrows fall, his mind overwhelmed with grief.
Explanation
The Gita doesn't open with a lesson — it opens with someone falling apart. Arjuna is not a coward; he's a skilled warrior who suddenly can't locate the right thing to do among competing loyalties. That collapse is the actual starting point for everything Krishna says next, and it's worth noticing: profound teaching often starts from an honest admission that you don't currently know what to do.

When did you last let yourself openly not know the right move, instead of forcing a decision too early?
