Chapter 8, Verse 7

तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च । मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम् ॥

Translation

Therefore, remember me at all times, and carry out your duty. With mind and intellect surrendered, you will surely reach me.

Explanation

This is not an instruction to withdraw from action in favor of contemplation — it explicitly says 'and carry out your duty.' The practice being described is doing both at once: staying inwardly grounded while remaining fully, outwardly engaged with whatever needs doing.
