Chapter 9, Verse 13

महात्मानस्तु मां पार्थ दैवीं प्रकृतिमाश्रिताः । भजन्त्यनन्यमनसो ज्ञात्वा भूतादिमव्ययम् ॥

Translation

Great souls, Arjuna, taking refuge in a higher nature, worship me with undivided minds, knowing me as the eternal source of all beings.

Explanation

'Undivided minds' is the operative phrase — the verse locates greatness less in extraordinary ability and more in a kind of wholehearted, unsplit attention. A person doesn't need rare talent to bring undivided attention to what matters; they just need to stop dividing it.

Where has your attention been divided today when it could have been whole instead?
