मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये । यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ॥
Translation
Among thousands of people, perhaps one strives for perfection; and among those who strive, perhaps one truly knows the deeper truth.
Explanation
Read generously rather than discouragingly, this verse is honest about how rare sustained, genuine effort actually is — most people, most of the time, are coasting. Simply being someone who is trying counts for more than it might feel like on an ordinary day.
