Chapter 4, Verse 8

परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् । धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ॥

Translation

To protect the virtuous, to end the wicked, and to firmly establish righteousness, I appear age after age.

Explanation

The phrase 'age after age' is worth sitting with — it doesn't promise a single, final fix, but a repeated, ongoing process. Balance isn't restored once and kept forever; it's something that has to be actively re-established again and again, in every generation, including this one.
