What

Ugadi (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka) and Gudi Padwa (Maharashtra) mark the same lunar new year under different regional names, observed with home cleaning, decorative doorway hangings, and a dish that intentionally combines sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy flavors in one preparation.

Why
